Orange Electrical Works (OEW) was established in 1921 and the current managing director and owner David Boulton with his wife Nerralie purchased the company in 1995. David has been part of OEW since 1971 when he started as an apprentice.
Orange Electrical currently employs sixteen experienced tradesmen and workers and boasts a fleet of ten motor vehicles. We principally are concerned with electrical contracting and repairs as well as refrigeration and air conditioning installation, repairs and maintenance.
Orange Electrical continues to invest in the future of the company currently employing five indentured apprentices.
One of our fundamental policies is that all staff continually attend appropriate training courses that maintain and increase their knowledge of the industry as well as familiarizing themselves with any new government legislation.
Orange Electrical have been fortunate in retaining long term and loyal employees and the success which it has achieved is based squarely on the body of knowledge, skill and experience possessed by its elite force of tradesman. Due to the multi-skilled flexibility of our staff when work loads require we are able to move between departments to maximise our work capability for the company and our clients.
Orange Electrical is a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and holds a contractors licence for Electrical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. We are an AIP accredited company, which allows us to work at all petrol sites in addition to supervising sub-contractors on site and hold an ARC refrigerant licence.
